Orb L'Orange

Monoprint etching while at Ohio University under Mary Manusos- loved the time there. This plate gives me complete freedom both to work within a monotonous large shape, the contrasting background, and much activity within a major subject area. The color here was executed with color markers.

Done at OU when I had the run of the etching studio. Use the 'zoom', more color than meets the eye.

OU etching series. Lots of finger work. Bridging dominant yellows and grays is still a challenge.
